Presenting: the Liberty Activism Repository
Posted on October 11th, 2008 by bile Tags: Liberty Activism Repository, Ludwig von Mises, media outlets, Murray N. Rothbard, Pennsylvania, Pierre-Joseph Proudhon, Sam Dodson, TexasFor a while now I’ve noticed one of the biggest issues with liberty activism is lack of communication and ignorance.
How does a liberty activist deal with the courts? What’s the best method for dealing with a traffic ticket. Where can one go to learn about monetary theory? What’s a good arguing technique to use against an American liberal? How can I make a Pierre-Joseph Proudhon t-shirt?
I found that many activists have their hearts in the right place they don’t always have a good grasp of the topics they are debating or they use arguments which aren’t as potent as some others. I understand that not everyone is going to be able to go out and read Ludwig von Mises’ Human Action to better understand why monetary inflation is bad or read through Murray N. Rothbard’s Conceived in Liberty to learn that Pennsylvania was nearly a working example of anarchy.
The purpose of the Liberty Activism Repository is to be an open wiki for all things related to liberty activism. Political and apolitical. Capitalist, socialist, communist. Personal experiences, debating techniques and examples, particular topics, media outlets… everything.
At the moment it’s been just me and given my busy schedule not much is present and that which is isn’t well organized. Some of the material was provided by bosco but added by myself.
Please, if you’ve got the time, create an account and add some information. Should you find the need for a particular MediaWiki extension, use the contact page to let me know what you need.
I’m still constructing the site. I’ll be adding advertisements soon. Perhaps a better logo at some point.
I’ve been in contact with Sam Dodson of Texas on a liberty activist education fund of sorts. Part of his plan is an information repository. At this point we’ve agreed it will be http://libertyactivism.info. Once that project is off the ground I will post more about it here.
Make yourself a press ID
Posted on August 30th, 2008 by bile Tags: Full Identity, press pass, Sam Dodson, TexasI’ve been looking around for a company which could put together a press ID for me. Sam Dodson from Texas sent me a link to Full Identity. Most of the places I had found were both expensive and shady. Full Identity is still kindof shady looking but Sam said he had used them before. I found a site with a home made press pass and use that as a template. Total cost with a plastic sleave, lanyard, an encoded magnetic strip, with shipping: $10.50.
Fred Parsells on local Keene, NH radio show Talkback hangs up on liberty activists
Posted on August 24th, 2008 by bile Tags: Fred Parsells, FreeKeene, government education, government schooling, Ian Bernard, Keene, Mark Edge, New Hampshire, Sam Dodson, taxesLiberty activists called WKBK’s Talkback this morning to discuss education, but could barely get a word in as Fred Parsells talked over top OTN’s Sam and I and then hung up on us. Talkback used to be a show where callers could have their questions heard and answered, but it seems our questions are too challenging or thought provoking, so we are now being marginalized. Perhaps we just need more callers. Can you help?
Please join us in calling the program with a pro-liberty viewpoint. Get details and discuss on this Free Keene forum thread.
Appears some of the Keene bureaucrats have nearly had enough of the liberty movement there. It’s going to get interesting in the next few years and the number of activists increase.
OTN Pays a Visit to Their City Council Meeting

Keene’s government people are hereby put on notice:
Everything you know is about to change. As each month goes by, more liberty loving activists will be moving into the Keene area. Please understand that voluntary interaction in a free market is the most humane method of interaction for mankind. These ideas of liberty are powerful and infectious. As our concentration and influence build, our ideas will become popular. Your government corporation will lose its most precious element of legitimacy as more and more people choose to ignore your dictates and live as free men and women.
Enjoy your coercive reign of the people in Keene while it lasts. I expect you’ll find your power over others diminishing over time, hopefully sooner rather than later, but I want to assure you that it is going to happen. Therefore, you should start thinking about products or services that you can offer into the marketplace on a voluntary basis, just like the rest of us peaceful people.
As a little taste of what is coming, here’s an what just one Keene-bound activist is doing down in his current home of Texas. Sam from the Obscured Truth Network will be arriving here sometime before the end of this year:
A little confrontational but assuming the velocity at which activists move to NH stays the same or increases he’s likely correct. At least the “is about to change” part. Not so sure about “everything.”
The Court of Public Relations: Part 1

Find more of Sam’s work at the Obscured Truth Networks’s Youtube page.
If you want to see the entire thing you can check it out at FreeKeene.com but I believe its a rough draft. In the least the aspect ratio is wrong. I’ll post the other official parts as they become available.
