John Clifton, a fellow member of the Queens and Manhattan Libertarian Party’s has sent around a breakdown of the Ron Paul for President 2008 campaign’s expenditures for the 4th quarter of 2007. I’ve not confirmed the data with the FEC but as he points out there are some questionable expenditures and I can only hope that the campaign will respond to these statements.

They shot for $430K in 3 days but $5972.22/hour was too fast for them it seemed. $5598/hour isn’t too bad though. If you look at the charts at the time of posting you can see that it was off to a slow start. They really didn’t (as far as I could tell) inform people as to what was going on. I think that may have added to the failure. At 7:26AM it’s at $411,569.63. I’d imagine it’d hit $430 later today. Now my worry is reaching the $4m mark before the end of October. It doesn’t look good currently. They need to raise on average $11019/hour for the next 208 hours.
