How about sending 100 unsolicited text messages to random targets? Bonus if their plan doesn't include unlimited messages.

The next stop would be to actually regulate computer/communication usage. Computer registration (maybe with the Department of Fatherland Computing), software approval, etc. Without internet laws there's no internet safety.

Depends on many things. This plan is really only going to work at the lower levels of government. Those who control the money supply can always print what they need. At the local level there are far more obstacles to increased taxes when the subjects aren't playing along. With the recession people are more interested in spending and the outcry becomes greater. In places like NH where your state rep lives down the street and you run into them at the supermarket they've got more incentive to not be pigs. In addition, the idea is to grow this type of behavior. As it grows either the government will increase their tyranny, showing more people just what they are, or will decrease. There is only so much feeding the local public will take before tarring and feathering begins.

it doesnt always have to be chili. <a href="http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Titus_andronicus#Synopsis" rel="nofollow">titus</a> baked a meat pie.

i suppose one should be suspicious of any platter or dish involving ground beef, and perhaps equally as concerned in an overly eager host who questions whether the meal meets your approval.

Every funeral I've ever been to has had a giant food spread afterwards. (Is this a strange family tradition?) I've never seen chili at one though, thank god.

I think I posted <a href="http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2008/01/18/tensions_rise_over_newton_schools_cost/" rel="nofollow">this</a> a while ago. $186 million for a suburban high school is a little over the top.

I'm always curious as to how people are willing to use violence. People's opinions vary widely on what it should be used for.
