I’m really proud of everyone involved in the open carry litter pickup in Plymouth Township at Bicentennial Park.  The idea was for attendants to pick up litter while practicing their right to open carry, both drawing attention to a method of self defense and cleaning up a park.  This is a great example of activism.  On top of the positive effects this has on the community, the group even managed to receive some great press.  The event also seemed to draw many different types of activists and encourage discussion.  For more information, check out this video.
