This is a few days old but I’m just catching up on news after PorcFest and this goes well with “Fed engaged in “cover-up” of BofA-Merrill deal-lawmaker.”

I was looking for a “best-of” montage of this hearing, but I didn’t stumble across one in the past week (didn’t really go out of my way though). The reports I read had Bernanke all but pleading the 5th. Between BoA, Maiden Lane, and similiar schenangians, some law has to have been broken (if not multiple) and any “extraordinary measures in extraordinary times” defense is bullshit. I guess, “I don’t recall” is still in vogue for now.
