(7:45-8:00) The agent tells me in less than perfect English, “In the Border Patrol Checkpoint, the person’s rights doesn’t matter here.”
(16:50-17:10) I’m told that the police will arrive in less than 10 minutes to arrest me
(19:00-19:40) I’m accused of being a terrorist
(26:20) I’m told that I’m free to go without being searched

Apparently, logic is not a required skillset in order to become a border patrol officer.
That’s not even circular logic. It’s simply revisionist authoritarian nonsense.
Refusing to voluntarily waive your rights is not grounds for suspension of those rights.

Since the courts authorized the check points 100 miles from the border it’s ok to stop for the border patrol. So the courts just need to abolish more rights 100 miles within the border and then everything is ok.

They can’t abolish rights… only extend the aura of legitimacy to infringing on them.

This BS totally needs to stop… fortunately no one’s ever searched me (and I’ve driven Phoenix/LA/San Diego where these checkpoints exist)…

This guy was hooah!!! I wish more people had the stones to challenge illegal police tactics. The police at all levels have become to used to the sheeple passively following instructions. When someone actually stands up for what is right the become outraged that someone has actually challenged their authority. We need to take our country back before it is too late. There is still hope but not for too much longer. Authoritarian rule is close to being completed here.

You people are absolute idiots. These guys are doing their job, and this ass hat comes along with the definite intention of pissing them off. Seriously. Grow up. Living in New Mexico I’ve driven through border patrol check points scores of times whenever I travel in the southern part of the state, or in southern texas, and its really not a big deal. You roll up, answer a couple simple questions, move on. And they aren’t nun-chucks you moron.
