AP video of RNC protests shows police attacking the press
Posted on September 2nd, 2008 by bile Tags: 1st Amendment, Associated Press, police, police state, property, thugs, tyranny, violenceIt’s one thing to harass and arrest protesters causing trouble. Those ‘anarchists’ who damage property should be dealt with. It’s an entirely different thing to raid homes of individuals who have done nothing and to harm or arrest members of the press who obviously are not causing a problem. These people are thugs. Can anyone not understand why the so called authorities are disliked when they so blatantly infringe the very first amendment to the US Constitution, required by the anti-federalists in order to secure those rights from government infringement.

at least their police state is tax free.
not hard to figure who those “private doners” were.

Not exactly. Each party got something like 16 million from the federal government to have their convention as I understand it.

Try $50 million each.

Hmm… says they allocated that much. I wonder if the numbers I heard were wrong or that of the $50m they could spend that they did spend. Regardless, it’s wrong.

Couldn’t find any running tally of the costs, but I found this article interesting.
