This plan is really only going to work at the lower levels of government. Those who control the money supply can always print what they need. At the local level there are far more obstacles to increased taxes when the subjects aren't playing along. With the recession people are more interested in spending and the outcry becomes greater. In places like NH where your state rep lives down the street and you run into them at the supermarket they've got more incentive to not be pigs. In addition, the idea is to grow this type of behavior. As it grows either the government will increase their tyranny, showing more people just what they are, or will decrease.
