I agree that this is a very general article that only scratches the surface. I don't know too much about FedUpUSA but they seem mainly focused on the housing aspect. The Fed certainly set the stage for that market to inflate, but the GSEs willingly threw out prudent lending rules. The media has been largely asleep at the wheel, or just plain ignorant, of what went down during the run-up that I think we'll see more of these "wha? what just happened?" articles.

Formatting: Firefox 2 on Windows XP. Also, I just tried with Firefox 2 on OS X and got the same result. A soon as I hit Save and then the page reloads, the formatting disappears.

Ask not to support Fannie and Freddie (they have tanked in the past two days btw)? That's it? The inflation is caused primarily by the Fed. Bah. They're pointed in the right direction at least.

beetlbumjl: What OS/browser are you using? I noticed on xyz's Ubuntu/Firefox 3 machine she has issues when saving certain formating. I've got no problems on my Crux/Firefox 3 box or any work machines with Firefox 2.
