First hand account of Fox New’s ‘Undecided’ voters group
I am going to post just a small review of my night with 23 Republicans at the Fox News Orlando Republican Presidential Debate.
Luntz was angry early on before camera’s went live when he polled the group to make sure everyone there was undecided. A 21 yr old guy raised his hand and said he was supporting Ron Paul. Luntz absolutely lost it on this kid and said “Why in the hell did you not put that on your questionaire that was e-mailed to you? Why does it not shock me that a Ron Paul supporter would pull this kind of crap?”
“If someone else shows up you are being replaced and out of here…this room is for undecided.”
This gives a great insight into what goes on behind the scene and it’s as expected. The story seems a bit odd though. Why would you ask people if they were undecided when it was implied that the email had asked for undecided voters? And why would the Ron Paul supporter not say he was supporting him when later asked? I’d recommend reading through the comments. It’s interesting to see socially conservative neo-cons argue who’s the best candidate.

ill be honest. id actually respect their positions if these neocons would actually back up their accusations with facts against pauls platform instead of sinking back and name calling. if you are going to call him certifiably insane, tell me why. convince me. better yet, do the research on all these candidates instead of spitting out what you hear on the news. these are people that use only one basis of reference–whatever one news channel they like–and pull these shallow attacks out of thin air. the only time i ever have a problem with what people say is when they are clearly being ignorant and trollish. opinions are great to have–when you can employ facts and research to them.
and also, many people like to name drop ronald reagan. but how quickly neocons will disregard (probably out of ignorance) what reagan though of ron paul:
“ron paul is one of the outstanding leaders fighting for a stronger national defense.”
“as a former air force officer, he knows well the needs of our armed forces, and he always puts them first.”
“we need to keep [ron paul] fighting for our country.”
and also noteworthy: ron paul was one of the few who actually supported ronald reagan running for president.
