What stood out:

  • Ron Paul’s first response on Iraq brought a decent amount of boos. His second received full applause.
  • They fail to bring up the question on healthcare (about SCHIP) to the only doctor on the panel, Ron Paul.
  • Michael Huckabee said something to the effect that the US needs to focus on ‘giving us freedom.’ The government defends our freedom, it does not give them to us.
  • Romney said the president and vice have kept us safe for the past few years. I think the stupidity of the potential terrorists, the NSA, FBI and foreign countries.
  • Ron Paul on the vice presidents enhanced power in the GWB administration. His response received a good amount of applause.
  • Just the mentioning of Fair Tax received a fairly large applause.
  • Ron Paul who is the most vocal in supporting the eradication of the IRS was given no time to speak.
  • As expected Ron Paul, T. Thompson, Sam Brownback, Tom Tancredo and Duncan Hunter got very little time to speak.
